YSRC Gives 'GREATER SHOCK' To Congress Party

The Congress party has received yet another major shock, the first one in Greater Hyderabad, when its associated member in the assembly Kuna Srisailam Goud from Qutbullapur constituency decided to call it quits and deciding to join the YSR Congress party headed by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy

Srisailam Goud, a close associate of Hyderabad brothers – Mukesh Goud and Danam Nagender – is expected to meet Jagan in Chanchalguda jail at 11 am on Friday. And it is only a formality for him to officially join the YSR Congress party. There is also a talk that another Congress MLA from Greater Hyderabad region would also join the YSR Congress party, but his name has been kept secret for the obvious reasons.

It was only last week that Srisailam had voted against the no-confidence motion in the assembly much to the delight of chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. However, he was conspicuous by his absence at the Congress Legislature Party meeting held on Wednesday along with 46 other Congress MLAs. Though nobody suspected him about his plans, he surprised everybody on Thursday by deciding to jump into the Jagan camp.
